Important information regarding data backup

DRAGON QUEST OF THE STARS
Thank you for playing DRAGON QUEST OF THE STARS.
This is an important announcement concerning game data backup.
If you have not yet backed up your data, please create a Square Enix account, Apple ID, or a Google account, then perform a data backup. This will safeguard your data in the event that you change devices, your game data gets corrupted, or you encounter other unexpected issues.
Please see Backing up your data with Square Enix Bridge, Backing up your data with Apple ID, or Backing up your data with Google (for Android users only) for more information.

Once you create a data backup, you will be able to resume your game using the latest data any time you wish.
If you do not back up your data, you will be unable to restore it in the event you change devices or encounter other unexpected issues.
We will send you 300 gems when you back up your data, so be sure to take advantage of this offer!
- Data may be corrupted when you device's battery runs out of power while you are playing. Always check your battery level before you begin.

Backing up your data with Square Enix account
Backing up your data on Square Enix Bridge requires a Square Enix account. If you do not have one, please back up your data following the procedure described below.
1. To create a Square Enix account, head to the link below.

You can also create a new account from the link in the very first search result that appears when you search using the keywords 'Square Enix account'.
2. After you create your Square Enix account, head to the Home screen and tap on Menu -> Data Backup.
3. Tap Open page. The Data Backup screen will appear. You will see the status of your data backups.
4. Tap Square Enix Account.
5. Read the Terms of Use that appear, and then tap Agree and register with Square Enix Account.
6. Enter the login information for the Square Enix account you created in step 1. If successful, your Square Enix account backup status will display Linked.
Once you have entered your account information and it has been authenticated, you will be directed to the confirmation code entry page.
An email containing a confirmation code will be sent to the email address you entered. Enter the code in the confirmation code field to finish registering your email address.
▼ If you don't receive an email when creating your Square Enix account
Check the following if you do not receive an email.
- Check to see whether the message is in your spam folder.
- If you are using domain whitelisting for your email, make sure that square-enix.com is included in your whitelist.
Note 1: If you visit the Data Backup screen again, you will see the message 'Backup of game data complete.'
Note 2 : Please note that if you close the confirmation code entry screen or quit the App before you are finished, you will have to start the procedure over again.
If you fail to properly complete the procedure after the confirmation code is sent, you will not be able to have another code sent to the email address you entered for 24 hours.
We apologise for the inconvenience, but if you wish to use the same email address again, please wait 24 hours before starting the procedure over.

Use your registered email address to check your Square Enix ID and try resetting your password.

Backing up your data on Square Enix Bridge requires an Apple ID. If you do not have one, please back up your data following the procedure described below.

2. After you create your Apple ID, head to the Home screen and tap on Menu -> Data Backup.
3. Tap Open page. The Data Backup screen will appear. You will see the status of your data backups.
4. Tap Sign in with Apple.

6. Enter the login information for the Apple ID you created in step 1. If successful, your Apple ID backup status will display Linked.

Backing up your data requires a Google account. If you do not have one, please back up your data following the procedure described below.
1. Head to the link below, and then create a new account on the page that appears.

1. head to the Home screen and tap on Menu -> Data Backup.
2. Tap Open page. The Data Backup screen will appear. You will see the status of your data backups.
3. Tap Square Enix account.
4. Tap Change Account.
5. Enter the login information for your Square Enix account. If successful, your Square Enix account backup status will display Linked.
Changing your Apple ID backup account
1. head to the Home screen and tap on Menu -> Data Backup.
2. Tap Open page. The Data Backup screen will appear. You will see the status of your data backups.
3. Tap Sign in with Apple.
4. Tap Change Account.
5. Enter the login information for your Apple ID account. If successful, your Apple ID backup status will display Linked.
Changing your Google backup account (for Android users only)
1. head to the Home screen and tap on Menu -> Data Backup.
2. Tap Open page. The Data Backup screen will appear. You will see the status of your backups.
3. Tap Google.
4. Tap Yes. This will unlink your Google account.
5. At the Data Backup screen, tap Google again.
6. Enter the login information for the Google account you wish to change to. If successful, your Google backup status will display Linked.
